Our wilderness home

Too Tall is a 2022 Turtleback Expedition offroad trailer.  It allows us the comforts of home without loading down the tow vehicle.

Too Tall's features

Turtleback Trailers are custom built to your specifications.  We selected several unpublished upgrades based on our previous experience with certain devices.

chassis

  • 2 x 3 galvanized tube steel chassis with 11-gauge aluminum floor system
  • Steel frame w/ aluminum skins, nose box, and 45” side boxes
  • Timbren axle-less 3500HD suspension with Icon Signature remote reservoir shocks
  • Tailgate with spare mount swing out and flip-down tables
  • Swing out uses an Idler hub assembly for spare lugs and bearings
  • 17" Aluminum Wheels with Goodyear Duratrac 265/65/R17 All Terrain tires. (Will replace with 35" Falkens when worn)
